SDF Chairman Dr. Ashraf Uddin
Chowdhury visits Gaibandha, Jamalpur
Newly
appointed Chairman of Social Development Foundation (SDF) Dr.
Ashraf Uddin Chowdhury, also a Professor of Dhaka University’s
Economics Department, visited SDF project areas of Gaibandha and
Jamalpur on December 19 and 26, 2009 respectively.
The SDF
Managing Director, General Managers, Project Director and
Consultants, among others, accompanied the SDF Chairman during
the tours.
Dr.
Ashraf Uddin Chowdhury, who joined the SDF in October 2009,
visited the districts to have interaction with its field staff
and know their problems and feelings.
Speaking
on the occasion, Dr. Ashraf Uddin urged the SDF field staff to
work sincerely and said performing one’s own duty is the real
patriotism.
During
exclusive talks with him, the SDF field staff informed the
Chairman about the project activities and the problems they are
now facing in the field, and sought his cooperation in resolving
those.
The SDF
Chairman gave them a patient hearing and assured them of looking
into their problems.
