Series
of training programmes held in Rangpur for SDF Staff, community
members
Social
Development Foundation (SDF) held a three-day training programme
on Social Accountability and Governance at ESOD Training Centre
in Rangpur from January 11 to 13, 2010.
A total
of 16 Social Audit Committee (SAC) conveners, four Cluster Team
Leaders, 24 Cluster Facilitators (CFs) and six district team
members took part in the training programme.
The
training programme focused on various social accountability
tools and improvement of governance and social accountability at
community level.
SDF
Managers (Programme) Mr Shamsuddin M Rafi and Mr A.K.M Mahbubur
Rahman conducted the training programme on behalf of SDF’s
Capacity Building (CB) Cell.
Training on Bookkeeping and
Community Financing
Another
three-day training programme on Bookkeeping and Community
Financing was held at ESOD Training Centre in Rangpur from
January 17 to 19, 2010.
A
total of 24 Cluster Facilitators (CFs), four Cluster Team
Leaders (CTL) and six district team members took part in the
training programme.
The
training programme laid emphasis on transparent financial
management and handling of funds.
